Dysport and Fraxel featured on Rachael Ray Show

Peppy chef-turned-celebrity Rachael Ray invited her personal dermatologist (must be nice) to talk about cosmetic procedures on her show this week. Among the featured treatments were Dysport and Fraxel, both gaining popularity in the U.S. in economic recession and increased interest in cosmetic fixes.

Dysport is known to produce similar results to Botox, minimizing the appearance of mild and severe lines around the mouth and eyes. Dysport is a cheaper alternative that takes 2-3 units to equal the effectiveness of one Botox unit. The effects last 4 to 6 months, so you won’t have to keep coming back for treatments that often. Schedule them in sync with your dental checkup and you’re good to go.

Fraxel and other laser resurfacing treatments have become popular even among younger individuals who want to prevent further damage and a facelift down the road. Fraxel and similar treatment Ultrapulse C02 use lasers to trick skin into thinking it is damaged, stimulating new collagen growth and improving texture and tone of skin.

As Americans look toward quick fixes that won’t involve a deep cut on their skin or into their wallet, they’re paying attention to these type of treatments. Check out other similar services at www.EscobedoSkinCenter.com or chat with an associate for questions about these treatments.
